The security of our users’ data is our top priority
FLAWA respects the privacy of the users of our website and online shop. This Privacy Policy forms the basis for our processing of personal data and provides information on the type of user data that is collected by FLAWA, as well as how FLAWA uses this data. FLAWA complies with the applicable data protection laws, and processes personal data solely for the purposes for which the data was submitted.

This Privacy Policy will be updated, supplemented or amended from time to time. For each new visit to the website, the version that is accessible at the time of the visit applies.

Type of data collected
Whenever you visit the website of FLAWA, statistical visitor data is collected which, in particular, lets us identify which parts of the website you access. For example, this may include data related to the user’s browser, operating system, weblogs and other connection data, regardless of whether this data is required for our or other purposes. In this context, it is sometimes necessary to use so-called “cookies”. This collected data does not contain any references to actual persons and/or is anonymised so that it cannot be used to identify you.

FLAWA does not automatically collect users’ personal information, such as their name, address, telephone number or e-mail address. An exception to this is information that the user voluntarily submits to FLAWA by completing website forms or otherwise contacting FLAWA via the website.

Use of cookies
In order to constantly improve our web services for users, FLAWA may use cookies. Cookies are small pieces of software-based information that are stored by browsers (e.g., Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox) on the user’s computer hard disk to facilitate the use of the respective website (e.g. language selection, shopping cart, etc.). These cookies are completely anonymous and do not contain any personal data. At no time will spyware be installed or used to access data and information stored on the user’s computer.

Most browsers automatically accept such cookies, however these browsers can be configured not to accept or save cookies. For further details, please refer to your browser’s operating instructions or help function.

Use of data
The anonymised data that is recorded by the cookies when the FLAWA website is accessed may be used for analysis purposes, to optimise the website and/or to measure its performance. For this purpose, FLAWA may use the following third-party providers, some of which have their own privacy policies, over which FLAWA has no control.

Data that is voluntarily submitted by users of the website may be used by FLAWA for the purpose of improving the website and/or providing individual support for users. This includes, but is not limited to, the sending of information, offers or notifications regarding our range of products and/or services. The FLAWA newsletter will only be sent to users who request it (newsletter opt-in procedure).

Social media content
FLAWA may display social media plugins on its website, e.g. from Facebook, Instagram, Google+ or Twitter. These platforms have their own privacy policies over which FLAWA has no control.

Users who do not wish to load any of these plugins are advised to log out from the corresponding social media service. Furthermore, by configuring your browser or installing add-ons (e.g. Facebook Blockers), it may be possible to prevent the social media plugins from being loaded.

Disclosure of your data
FLAWA and any subsidiaries and affiliates within our group of companies may use your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. In addition, we will not disclose your personal data to third parties.

This does not apply if the user has consented to the disclosure of their data to companies that are not affiliated with FLAWA, or if FLAWA is legally, officially or judicially obliged to disclose the data. In addition, it does not apply to service providers that FLAWA commissions to carry out data processing, administration of the website or in other capacities, or to provide the products and services requested by the user. These third parties are required to maintain the same level of security and privacy as FLAWA.

Data security
The transmission of data over the internet is unfortunately not completely secure. FLAWA works with service providers and internet providers who implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures in order to protect users’ personal data. However, FLAWA cannot guarantee the security of the data transmitted by the user. Therefore, each time you transmit data, you do so at your own risk.

Your right to information, your right of revocation

Naturally, each user is free to inform FLAWA at any time – for example by e-mail – that we should not use their personal data to contact them in the future. Users can also revoke their participation in the special services offered on the FLAWA website, such as our newsletter service, at any time.

In addition, users are entitled to obtain information about the processing of their data, and to request a copy of their personal data that is collected via the FLAWA website. Such enquiries should be addressed in writing to FLAWA AG, Badstrasse 43, 9230 Flawil, Switzerland, or sent by e-mail to info(at)flawa.ch.

Final provisions
Should individual provisions or parts of this Privacy Policy prove to be invalid or ineffective, this shall not affect the validity of the other provisions of this Privacy Policy.
